Living Room: Picking Paint Colors

I hate the builders beige in my living room. I figured since I'm updating furniture, I may as well paint. This is not a room I can easily repaint if I pick a color I don't like once it's up, so I have to make a good decision the first time. The two colors I'm trying to choose from are Quiver Tan by Sherwin Williams and Flax by Restoration Hardware. What do you guys think of the colors?  Janell of Isabella & Max Rooms blog used Quiver Tan in her living room. You already know I love the stencil over the fireplace in this room.

Flax is one of the colors in Restoration Hardware's paint line of the same name (Flax).

Looking Ahead: Sandals

It's that time of year for me. Whatever season we're in, I'm ready for the next seasons shoes. I can't wait for spring so I can get and wear some of the cute sandals that are out. While browsing Pinterest and ShopStyle. I noticed several pair of wedges that I have to have in my closet.

Can you tell I love this look? It fits my whole boho style. I recently bought a pair of crimson red Citizen of Humanity flared jeans that I have to get hemmed. I forgot how long their jeans are. They are extremely long even with heels on. I can't wait to wear them.

Living Room Again

Happy New Year guys! I know I have been MIA lately, but it's time to get back at it. I have made a decision on furniture for my living room. There's nothing wrong with my sofa, so I decided to keep it and add two new chairs. I picked the Sweep Arm Chair in Saddle, Herringbone faux Suede from West Elm. I think they will compliment my existing sofa perfectly.
