Spring is here and it is time to break out the bright and pastel colors. Pantone released their Spring/Summer 2017 Color Report earlier this year and there are four colors I feel we all should have in our closets. My faves from the color report are Pale Dogwood, Pink Yarrow, Kale, and Lapis Blue.
Wardrobe basics are the foundation for an amazing wardrobe. Once you have the basic pieces, finding something to wear each day should be a piece of cake. When building your basics try to limit the more trendy pieces. Your basics should be able to last from year to year. These pieces should be more classic and able to stand the test of time.
A few months ago, I completed my winter closet cleanout. My master closet is rather small, so I change out my clothes every fall and spring. During this cleanout, I realized I had far too many clothes to always feel like I have nothing to wear. So, I decided to cut down on shopping for new things and try to wear (shop) the clothes in my closet more. I came up with a few simple tips to come up with several different outfits using items I already owned.
